    Where: Vigo
    When: Oct 14 2010
    Who: 88 passengers
    Why On landing, the plane underwent extreme vibrations from the nose gear, and stopped on the runway. A broken nose gear was interfering with a nose wheel. Passengers disembarked on the runway and were transported to the gate.

    The plane was taken out of commission for repairs.

    Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing on Interstate 595, Hits Car

    A 1963 Piper PA-24 Comanche plane had to make an emergency landing on Interstate 595 in Davie, Florida, on September 24.

    The pilot, identified as Scott Richmond, 58, said he had to make an emergency landing after the plane ran out of fuel. He was en-route from South Carolina to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Florida at the time.

    The plane clipped the top of a 2003 Honda Accord before landing on westbound lanes of I-595.

    No one was injured in the incident.

    The plane and the car sustained minor damage.

    Flybe Plane Crash-Lands at Belfast International Airport; 1 Injured

    Flybe flight BE-331 crash-landed at Belfast International Airport, Northern Ireland, on November 10th.

    The plane was heading from George Best Belfast City Airport, Northern Ireland, to Inverness, Scotland, when the crew diverted to Belfast International Airport due to a gear problem.

    The plane landed without nose gear.

    One passenger was injured and was taken to a hospital.

    Aeroflot Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Moscow

    Aeroflot flight SU-22 had to return and make an emergency landing in Moscow, Russia, on March 25th.

    The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for Saint Petersburg, Russia, but had to turn back after the crew failed to retract the landing gear.

    The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

    Where: two miles northwest of the JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA runway 20
    When: 8. FEB-2009
    Who: pilot
    Why: A pilot’s training flight was interrupted at 1:30 when he had to make an emergency landing two miles from the airport. He was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
