A small plane crashed in Pennington County, Minnesota, on September 23rd.
Authorities said the single-engine Cessna 182 plane went down near Thief River Falls.
The plane was carrying three people at the time; all of them were killed in the crash. The deceased were identified as Moy Wing, 69, Brian Duke, 27, and Zach Ostertag, 26.
The FAA and the NTSB are investigating.
United Airlines flight UA-1278 made a safe landing at Denver International Airport, Denver, Colorado, on December 31.
The Boeing 737-800, flying from Miami, Florida, was about to turn off the runway when the crew reported an indication of smoke in its forward cargo hold.
The plane landed uneventfully.
Everyone aboard remained safe.

Why: En route to visit an iron ore mining site, the helicopter crashed in the Congolese jungle; it was located Monday afternoon. Those lost include Australian billionaire, Ken Talbot, and company chairman, Geoff Wedlock.
The passengers aboard Allegiant Air flight 330 were forced to evacuate onto the plane’s wing due to fuel smell, on June 12.
The plane, coming from Los Angeles, landed in Boise, Idaho at around 7 p.m.
According to an airline spokesperson, “Upon arrival at the gate, normal deplaning procedures were in progress during which a fuel smell was observed within the cabin…Passengers then initiated an evacuation through the over wing doors…A review of the incident confirmed that at no time were the passengers or crew members on board the plane in danger.”
The airline arranged a replacement aircraft for the return flight.

Why: The flight took off from Windsor and continued to Toronto, believing they had a bird strike. After landing, the condition of the plane indicated to examiners that the damage was due to a tail strike.
