    UTAir Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Russia

    UTairUTAir flight UT-364 made an emergency landing in Moscow, Russia, on October 4th.

    The plane flying from Ufa, Russia, was on final approach when the crew reported an unsafe gear indication.

    The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unhurt.

    Why: On final approach, the plane developed hydraulics issues. Low hydraulic pressure was indicated in the no.2 hydraulic system. An emergency was declared, and the plane landed safely under emergency conditions.

    GoAir Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Bangalore

    GoAir flight G8-283 had to return and make an emergency landing in Bangalore, India, on September 1st.

    The Airbus A320-200N plane took off for Pune, India, but had to turn back due to an engine failure.

    The plane landed safely. All one hundred and sixty-nine people aboard remained unharmed.

    Southwest Airlines Flight Returns to Dallas due to Cabin Pressure Issues

    The Boeing 737-300 plane took off for Houston, Texas, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported issues with cabin pressure.

    The plane landed uneventfully. All passengers and crew members remained safe.

    United Airlines Plane Diverts to Ireland due to Severe Turbulence

    new-united-logoUnited Airlines flight UA-880 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Shannon Airport, County Clare, Republic of Ireland, on August 31st.

    The Boeing 767-300 en-route from Houston, Texas, to London, England, encountered severe turbulence over Atlantic Ocean, prompting the crew to divert.

    At least 12 passengers and 2 crew members suffered minor injuries.

    The injured were taken to hospital.

    The passengers were later accommodated in a replacement plane.
