JetBlue Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Strong Odor in Cabin

JetBlue flight B6-39 made an emergency landing in San Jose, Costa Rica, on June 7th.

The Airbus A320-200 plane flying from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was descending toward San Jose when the crew noticed a strong odor in the cabin and declared an emergency.

The plane continued for a safe landing.

Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

American Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Costa Rica

American Airlines flight AA-986 made an emergency landing in San Jose, Costa Rica, on June 6th.

The Boeing 737-800 plane flying from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Texas, was on final approach to San Jose when the crew received an unsafe gear indication and went around.

The crew subsequently performed a manual gear extension and landed safely.

There were one hundred and eighty-six people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.

United Airlines Flight Returns to Houston due to Hydraulic Problem

United Airlines flight UA-1098 had to return and make an emergency landing in Houston, Texas, on May 20th.

The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for San Jose, Costa Rica, but had to turn back after the crew noticed a hydraulic problem.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

United Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Costa Rica

United Airlines flight UA-1516 had to return and make an emergency landing in Liberia, Costa Rica, on April 24th.

The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for Houston, Texas, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a ‘maintenance issue’.

The plane landed back safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

Southwest Airlines Makes Emergency Landing on Roatan Island

Southwest Airlines flight WN-607 had to divert and make an emergency landing on Roatan Island, Honduras, on May 29th.

The Boeing 737-700 was heading from San Jose, Costa Rica, to Baltimore, Maryland, when smoke was detected in the cabin, prompting the crew to divert to Roatan.

The plane landed safely. There were 140 passengers and 8 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained unhurt.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
