Air France flight AF-1266 made an emergency landing in Florence, Italy, on December 28th.
The Airbus A318-100 plane flying from Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, was on final approach when the crew reported a strong unusual smell throughout the aircraft.
The plane continued for a safe landing. Everyone aboard remained safe.
Condor flight DE-2402 had to return and make an emergency landing at Frankfurt Airport, Germany, on September 12th.
The Boeing 767-300 en-route to Toronto, Canada, had to return due to hydraulic failure.
The plane landed uneventfully.
All 217 passengers and 9 crew members aboard remained safe.
Republic Airlines flight YX-4675 had to reject takeoff from Columbus, Ohio, on August 8th.
The plane was accelerating to takeoff for Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when the crew rejected takeoff due to a bird strike.
The plane safely returned to the apron. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
A Boston-bound flight of Aer Lingus had to return and make an emergency landing at Dublin airport, after several crew members fell sick.
Flight EI-139 carrying 280 passengers took off for Boston at about 4.23 p.m. on June 15. According to an airline spokesperson, the decision for emergency landing was made after a number of crew members reported feeling ill.
Medical crews welcomed the Airbus A330 as it touched the ground shortly before 9 p.m. None of the crew needed hospital treatment.
Aer Lingus said the incident is being investigated.

What: Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700 en route from from Chicago to Salt Lake City

Who: mother and child
Why: About 130 miles NW of Denver, an expectant mother aboard the 737 delivered a baby boy. A doctor was on board and assisted. The flight diverted to Denver when the baby was born. Mother and son were taken to a Denver hospital, and the flight continued to Salt Lake City.
Reportedly, the pilot announced that a new patient had just boarded.
British Airways flight BA-793 had to return and make an emergency landing in Gothenburg, Sweden, on April 21st.
The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for London, United Kingdom, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported fumes in the cockpit.
The plane landed safely.
The passengers were accommodated in other flights.
