    IndiGo Airlines flight 6E-248 had to reject take off from Mumbai, India, on January 21st.

    The Airbus A320-200 plane was accelerating to take off for Delhi, India, when one of the engines emitted sparks and a loud bang, forcing the crew to reject take off.

    Super Stallion Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing on Solana Beach

    A Marine Corps helicopter made an emergency landing on Solana Beach, California, on April 15.

    According to a statement released by Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, the 100-foot CH-53E Super Stallion was forced to land in emergency after a low oil-pressure indicator light flashed. “The aircraft was conducting routine training, and the pilots landed the aircraft safely,” it said.

    The aircraft remained undamaged.

    The Super Stallion has three engines and is the heaviest and largest helicopter the U.S. military has.

    Delta Airlines Plane Encounters Turbulence Near LaGuardia Airport

    Delta Airlines flight DL-2056 encountered turbulence near LaGuardia Airport, New York, on February 24th.

    The Airbus A319-100 plane flying from New Orleans, Louisiana, was on final approach to LaGuardia Airport, when it hit turbulence, prompting the crew to go around.

    The plane subsequently landed safely.

    Four passengers were injured in the incident.
