The Boeing 767-400 plane took off for Newark, New Jersey, but had to turn back due to a cracked windshield.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
Indigo flight 6E-244 had to return and make an emergency landing at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad, India, on March 12th.
The Airbus A320-200 en-route to Lucknow, India, had to return after the crew had to shut down one of its engines.
The plane landed safely.
All 186 people aboard remained safe.

Why: Half an hour into the flight, the airborne weather radar system failed. The crew decided to fly to Goiânia and skip an intermediate stop (probably due to weather concerns?). On landing, the flight was cancelled.
Singapore Airlines Flight SQ391 had to return and make an emergency landing at Istanbul Ataturk Airport in Istanbul, Turkey, on August 17.
The Boeing 777-200 was heading from Istanbul to Singapore when several storks hit it, forcing the pilot to declare emergency.
The plane landed safely and all 255 passengers and 14 crew members remained unharmed.
The plane was taken for repair while the airline arranged a replacement aircraft for the passengers.
