Turkish Airlines flight TK1530 made an emergency landing at Nuremberg Airport, Germany, on April 8.
The Airbus 321 was heading from Düsseldorf to Istanbul when its windshield began to crack. The pilots then immediately reported the situation and requested an emergency landing at the nearest airport.
The plane landed uneventfully and everyone aboard remained unhurt.
The aircraft was taken for repair.
VivaColombia flight 8023 had to return for making an emergency landing at the Bogota International Airport in Colombia, on February 4.
The Medellin-bound plane departed from Bogota at around 19:00 local time but had to return immediately due to engine failure. Authorities said just moments after the plane took off, there was a loud bang in the right engine, followed by sparks and flames.
The plane landed uneventfully. No one aboard was harmed.
The cause of fire is not known at the moment.
A Germanwings Airbus A320 had to be evacuated at Cologne/Bonn airport in Germany, on April 12.
The airline said Milan-bound flight 4U 826 was taxiing to the runway when the air traffic tower asked the pilot to abort the flight due to a bomb threat.
All 132 people aboard were evacuated safely. The airline confirmed that the plane was thoroughly searched but not explosive device was found.
An alternate aircraft was arranged for the passengers.
KLM Airlines flight KL-897 made an emergency landing in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on September 30th.
The plane took off for Beijing, China, but had to turn back after the crew reported a flaps problem.
The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unhurt.

United Airlines flight UA-71 made an emergency landing in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on January 19th.
The Boeing 767-300 plane was heading to Newark, New Jersey, when the crew declared a medical emergency reporting fifteen people on board felt sick.
The plane landed back safely. Medical teams examined fifteen people at the airport.
Sun Country Airlines Flight 123 had to make an emergency landing at the Boise Airport, Idaho, at around 4 p.m. on September 25.
According to the airport authorities, the decision for emergency landing was made after a warning light indicated an engine fire. The charter flight was en-route from Lewiston, Idaho, to Laughlin, Nevada, at the time.
The Boeing 737 landed uneventfully and no one was injured.
The investigation confirmed that there was no evidence of engine fire. The aircraft’s warning light indicator is being repaired.
