What: Shaheen Airlines Boeing 737-200 en route to Karachi

Why: A bird strike right after take-off caused the pilots to request an emergency landing. No one was injured, and the flight took off after a delay of four hours.
Korean Air flight KE-718’s both nose tyres deflated after landing at Jeju International Airport, Jeju City, South Korea, on July 29th.
The Boeing 737-900 flying from Tokyo, Japan, had landed on Jeju’s runway when the incident occurred.
All 148 passengers onboard disembarked safely.
The aircraft is still on the ground since the occurrence.
A small plane made an emergency landing on the Lookout Beach in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa, on March 24th.
According to the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) spokesperson Craig Lambinon, “On arrival on the scene a Cessna light aircraft was found to have made an emergency landing on the beach and it is believed that the light aircraft may have suffered engine failure while flying over Keurbooms Lagoon while on a pilot training flight from George Airport forcing the pilot to make an emergency landing on the beach.”
There were two people aboard, including the instructor pilot and trainee pilot; both of them remained unharmed.
The Civil Aviation Authority is investigating.
Air New Zealand flight NZ-30 had to return and make an emergency landing in Auckland, New Zealand, on December 6th.
The Boeing 787-900 plane took off for Buenos Aires, Argentina, but had to turn back after the crew noticed an engine problem.
The plane landed uneventfully. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

What: PIA Pakistan International Airlines Avion de Transport Regional ATR-42-500 en route from Karachi to Turbat

Why: After takeoff, the landing gear would not retract. Pilots returned to Karachi and made a safe landing.
Aeroflot flight SU-1384 had to return and make an emergency landing at Sheremetyevo International Airport, Russia, on October 12th.
The plane took off for Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, but had to turn back due to a gear problem.
The plane landed back safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
