The Boeing 757-300 plane was flying from Boston, Massachusetts, when the crew reported a hydraulic failure and requested emergency assistance.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

A Norwegian Air flight en route from Copenhagen, Denmark to Oslo, Norway had to make an emergency landing in Sweden, due to a bomb threat from an on-board passenger.
The Boeing 737, carrying around 94 people, was on its way on April 25 afternoon when a passenger told a crew member that he had placed a bomb in the cargo hold. Following the threat, the plane made emergency landing at Landvetter airport, Gothenburg, Sweden, at around 3.30pm GMT.
Lasse Sandaker-Nielsen, the spokesperson for Norwegian Air said “Passengers have left the plane and the man who had warned of the bomb is under control by the police.”
Björ Blixter, a Gothenburg Police official said that the investigation is underway.
Malaysian Airlines flight MH 179 made an emergency landing at Kuala Lumpur Airport in Malaysia, on May 10.
The pilot decided to return after a drunk passenger started harassing the crew members. The flight was en-route from Malaysia to Colombo, Sri Lanka at the time.
The plane circled around Malacca Strait before landing safely in Kuala Lumpur.
A United Parcel Service (UPS) plane had to make an emergency landing at Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, Arkansas, at around 4:40 a.m. on February 3.
Emergency was declared aboard the UPS MD80 cargo plane after the pilot reported strong fumes in the cockpit.
The plane landed uneventfully. None of the 2 people aboard was harmed.

Why: As the plane was taking off, a flight attendant smelled smoke. The pilot returned to San Diego and made an emergency landing on Lindbergh Field. Oxygen masks were deployed but there were no injuries.
The plane was slated for inspection and will be removed from service until the issue is solved.
