Arik Air Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Nigeria
Arik Air flight W3-433 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Benin City, Nigeria, on May 12th.
The plane, heading from Warri to Abuja, Nigeria, was diverted after the crew reported they had to shut down one of the engines.
The plane landed uneventfully. There were 42 people aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.

American Airlines flight AA-87 had to return and make an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport in London, England, on March 11th.
Cathay Pacific flight CX-234 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Istanbul Atatürk Airport in Turkey, on March 1st.
