Boeing 707 Cargo Plane Crashes in Iran; 15 Dead

A cargo plane crashed at Fath Airport in Karaj, Iran, on January 14th.

Authorities said the Boeing 707 cargo plane overshot the runway, hit a wall and caught fire.

There were sixteen people aboard at the time; fifteen of them were killed in the crash, while one person survived.

The plane was brining meat from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan at the time.

Virgin Atlantic Flight Makes Emergency Landing at JFK Airport

Virgin Atlantic flight VS-128 had to return and make an emergency landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, on September 15th.

The Boeing 747-400 plane took off for Manchester, England, but had to turn back due to an issue with the cargo fire detection system.

The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

JetBlue flight B6-23 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Nashville, Tennessee, on July 29th.

The Airbus A321-200 plane heading from John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, to Los Angeles, California, was diverted due to a cargo smoke indication.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Cargo Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Mitchell International Airport

A small cargo plane made an emergency landing at General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on October 6th.

The plane was flying from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, when the pilot reported a landing gear problem.

The plane landed safely. The pilot, who was the only one aboard, remained unharmed.

The plane belongs to Freight Runners Express, based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
