    Small Plane Crashes in New York; 3 Killed

    A small plane crashed in Syosset, New York, on May 3rd.

    The Beech BE-35 aircraft took off from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and was en-route to Plainville, Connecticut, when it broke up mid-air.

    There were three people aboard at the time, including two men and a woman; all of them were killed in the crash.

    Authorities said the pilot reported issues with his instrument panel shortly before the crash.

    The FAA is investigating.

    Airlander 10 Crashes During Test Flight in England

    The plane crashed during its second test flight after having been revamped.

    No injuries were reported in the crash.

    Royal Jordanian Airlines Plane Veers Off Runway in Iraq

    Royal Jordanian Airlines flight RJ-800 veered off runway at Sulaimaniyah International Airport, Iraq, on March 4th.

    The incident happened when the Embraer ERJ-175 plane was coming from Amman, Jordan.

    There were 30 people aboard at the time; the airline confirmed that none of them were injured.

    QantasLink Plane Impacts the Tail of another Plane in Australia; Flight Delayed

    qantaslinkQantasLink plane hit the tail of a Network Aviation plane on the runway at Paraburdoo Airport, Paraburdoo, Western Australia, on the afternoon of October 5th.

    The Boeing 717 taxied along the runway to depart for Perth when its tail struck the tail of another plane.

    The plane was grounded and flight was delayed.

    The incident remains under investigation.

    American Airlines Flight Diverts to Boston due to Smoke in Cockpit

    American Airlines flight AA-4933 made an emergency landing in Boston, Massachusetts, on May 30th.

    The plane heading from Portland, Maine, to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was diverted after the crew noticed smoke in the cockpit.

    The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained safe.

    Vintage Crash in Chandler


    Pictured: North American P-51D Mustang; N514NH / 4484850/FF-850 (cn 124-44706) Former Apollo astronaut Frank Borman own this Mustang in the ’90s. Borman registered it as N15FS in August 1995 and named it Su Su. In it’s history this aircarft has carried the registrations N151TH, N850AH, N151BF, N151FS. Now it belongs to Hirani Oil in Chandler Arizona.

    Where: Stellar Airpark in Chandler
    When: Thu Mar 11 1:20 p.m.
    Who: pilot Nazzi Hirani
    Why: On an attempt to land, the World War II-era plane appeared to be coming in to land too fast, hit a brick retaining wall, then flipped into the hanger, setting it afire and killing the pilot.

    * Although the Mustang was built by North American Aviation, it is the precursor of the Piper.
