A two-seater plane crash-landed in front yard of a house in Isola Bella Boulevard, Mount Dora, Florida, on the morning of July 11.
The plane had taken off from Mid Florida Air Service Airport, Eustis, when the pilot noticed engine malfunction and decided to land in emergency.
The plane first struck 2 trees, then hit a sign board, and finally crashed into the yard.
The pilot and a student aboard remained uninjured.

Why: A home built ultralight carrying two passengers on a training exercise crashed at an airfield two hundred feet from the runway between 10:00 and 10:15 pm. The plane fell from the sky, and exploded when it impacted the ground. A local farmer who was on site to cut the grass attempted to come to the aid of the pilots who were calling for help, and was injured by the fire.
The light aluminum frame burned quickly.
Apparently Vladimir Bodiš and Marinko Lovri? survived the impact but died in the fire. Bodiš was an Eagle test pilot with a commercial license, and Lovri? taught military pilots although a Croatian newspaper said they found no license for him.
The Cessna 206 operated by Adrenalin Skydivers crashed during takeoff on March 22 at the airstrip, 50km north of Brisbane. Five persons, including the pilot, two tandem instructors and a couple were killed.
The Managing Director of Aero Dynamic Flight Academy and the Safety Officer of Caboolture Airfield, Bryan Carpenter said the aviation community is shattered by the tragic incident. He said it was not possible at this stage to speculate the cause of the accident. The possible causes could have been a bird collision, a mechanical failure or a center of gravity shift in the plane. The plane was reportedly having engine trouble on takeoff.
The victims included instructors Glenn Norman and Juraj Glesk, and Logan couple Rahuia Hohua and Joey King.
Adrenalin Skydivers, known as Skydive Bribie, uses Caboolture Airfield for picking up tourists for conducting tandem jumps. They land on nearby Bribie Island.
Adrenalin Skydivers Pty Ltd also had a similar accident in August 2010 killing seven on board.
The investigation is being handled by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau.
British Airways flight BA-360 had to return and make an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport, England, on May 17th.
The Airbus A320-200 plane was heading to Lyon, France, when the crew decided to turn back due to an engine failure.
The plane landed back safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
The airline said the flight returned to Heathrow Airport due to a technical issue.
A small plane made an emergency landing on Highway 11 near Garland King Road in Duplin County, North Carolina, on December 21.
The pilot Richard Kenny said he was forced to land on the highway after his plane ran out of fuel. He was heading from Long Island, New York, to Orlando, Florida, at the time.

Both occupants of the plane were killed in the crash. They were identified as Sydney Miti, 31, of Waltham, and Julian Lattermann, 18, of Dover.

The accident happened when the plane was travelling from Juba to Panyagor. The director of Jonglei state’s Relief and Rehabilitation Commission, Gabriel Deng Ajak confirmed that the cargo plane was carrying relief supplies for internally displaced persons (IDPs).
Two people were killed in the accident while the third person aboard was injured. The survivor was immediately taken to hospital. The crash also killed at least 10 goats and damaged the nearby houses.
The cause of accident is not clear at the moment.
