Saudi Arabian Airlines flight SV-753 made an emergency landing at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad, India, on October 13th.
The plane took off for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but had to return shortly afterwards due to technical issues.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

What: Norwegian Air Shuttle Boeing 737-800 en route from Alicante to Stockholm
Where: Alicante
When: Apr 2nd 2010
Who: 106 passengers
Why: After takeoff, passengers smelled smoke, and one of the indicators detected fire in a wheel well. The plane returned to Alicante, and made a safe landing. During emergency evacuation, four passengers were injured. Passengers were provided hotel accommodations and Boeing brought in another plane to transport them.
A Cessna 172P made an emergency landing on a farmer’s field in East Carondelet, St. Clair County, Illinois, on January 13.
The pilot landed the plane in emergency after reporting vibration and smell of smoke and oil to the air traffic controller at St. Louis Airport.
The plane was carrying 2 people at the time of incident; neither of them reported any injuries.
The aircraft is registered to Delaware-based Christiansen Aviation Inc.
The NTSB is investigating.
Aeromexico flight AM-421 had to reject takeoff at a high speed at Mexico City International Airport, Mexico City, Mexico, on July 13th.
The Boeing 737-700 was accelerating to takeoff for Merida, Mexico, when the crew saw another aircraft on the runway, prompting the plane to stop.
The aircraft braked heavily. All people onboard remained unharmed.
The incident remians under investigation.

What: Easyjet Airbus A319-100 en route from Liverpool to Madrid
Where: Bay of Biscay
When: Dec 29th 2009
Who: 155 passengers and 7 crew
Why: While en route, the crew reported a hydraulics failure and air frame vibrations. The flight diverted to Bordeaux and made a safe landing. Another jet was provided.
KLM Cityhopper flight KL-1767 made an emergency landing in Maastricht, Netherlands, on December 16th.
The Embraer ERJ-190 plane heading from Amsterdam, Netherlands, to Frankfurt, Germany, was diverted due to an issue with the flaps.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

What: US Airways Airbus A320-200 en route from Phoenix to Oakland
Where: San Francisco International
When: Jul 13th 2009
Who: 147 passengers
Why: Nose gear steering of the US Airways Airbus failed on approach to Oakland. The flight was diverted to San Francisco, where nose gear operation apparently was recovered prior to landing.
