A medical emergency prompted the Lufthansa Airlines flight LH434 to make an emergency landing at Manchester airport, UK, on August 6.
The incident happened when the flight was en route from Munich, Germany to Chicago.
The Airbus A340-600 dumped fuel over Greater Manchester before landing safely at the airport shortly after 5 p.m.
The sick passenger was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital for treatment. The nature of illness is not yet known.

Why: While en route, the crew reported a hydraulics failure and air frame vibrations. The flight diverted to Bordeaux and made a safe landing. Another jet was provided.
EasyJet flight U2-1353 made an emergency landing in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on February 8th.
The Airbus A319-100 plane flying from Geneva, Switzerland, was descending toward Amsterdam when the crew reported hydraulic issues and entered a hold.
The plane continued for a safe landing. There were 152 people aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.
LOT Polish Airlines flight LO-3825 had to return and make an emergency landing in Warsaw, Poland, on August 20th.
The plane took off for Gdansk, Poland, but had to turn back due to an issue with the landing gear.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
A homebuilt plane crashed near El Álamo, Madrid after departing from Casarrubios Airport. The pilot was the only one aboard and died in the crash.
The plane caught on fire, and two fire crews from Madrid responded to teh scene.
The cause of the crash has not been determined. An investigation is underway.
The pilot was a sixty year old aeronautical engineer.
Two small planes collided midair over Wil, a town in St. Gallen canton in northeastern Switzerland, in the afternoon of August 24.
According to St. Gallen Canton Police, both the aircrafts, one en-route from Lommis airport in Thurgau canton and the other flying from Zurich, were able to land in emergency after the collision.
One of the planes landed in a field. All 4 people aboard this plane, including the pilot, were seriously injured.
The second plane landed in a Sitterdorf airfield, injuring the pilot and 2 passengers on board.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
British Airways flight BA-209 made an emergency landing in Miami, Florida, on October 13th.
The Boeing 747-400 plane flying from Heathrow Airport, England, was on final approach to Miami when the crew reported an issue with the flaps and went around.
The plane subsequently landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
