A small helicopter crashed and caught fire near Rand Airport in Germiston, South Africa, on the afternoon of September 25.
Two people, including a man and a woman, were killed in the accident.
The helicopter belonged to MiX Telematics Africa. The company’s managing director Brendan Horan said, “MiX Telematics are aware of the incident that took place this afternoon where we confirm that it was a Matrix vehicle tracking helicopter, operated by Henley Air, which has crashed.”
The cause of crash is under investigation by the MiX Telematics and the South African Civil Aviation Authority.
