What: Germanwings Airbus A319-100 en route from Vienna to Cologne
Where: Cologne
When: Dec 19th 2010
Why: On landing in Cologne, smoke in the cockpit sent pilots to the hospital. The smoke is so far unexplained.
Taban Air flight HH-6295 had to return and make an emergency landing at Mehrabad International Airport, Tehran, Iran, on December 31st.
The plane took off for Shiraz, Iran, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported a mechanical problem with one of the engines and had to shut it down.
The plane landed back uneventfully. All 130 people aboard remained safe.
LATAM Airlines flight LA-841 had to return and make an emergency landing in Santiago, Chile, on January 19th.

A private jet carrying Miranda Lambert, the famous country music star and her team made an emergency landing in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
The incident happened on June 3, when the plane was en route from New York to Nashville, Tennessee.
Wes Vause, Lambert’s publicist said that the plane lost pressure and they had to wait for about three hours before resuming the journey.
A PHI Air Medical helicopter had to make an emergency landing at West Mockingbird Lane and Irving Boulevard in Dallas, Texas, on October 26th.
The aircraft was on its way to pick up a patient when the pilot reported a possible fuel leak and decided to make an emergency landing.

The plane landed without incident. The pilot remained uninjured.
The plane was heading from Bodmin to Roche.
