    Frontier Airlines Plane Diverts to New Orleans

    frontier airlinesFrontier Airlines flight F9-688 made an emergency landing in New Orleans, Louisiana, on May 27th.

    The Airbus A321-200, en-route from Denver, Colorado, to Orlando, Florida, was diverted after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.

    The plane landed safely. All 227 people aboard remained safe.

    The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

    ABX Air Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Providence

    ABX Air flight GB-3907 made an emergency landing in Providence, Rhode Island, on December 28th.

    The Boeing 767-200 freighter plane flying from Chicago Rockford International Airport, Illinois, was descending toward Providence when the crew reported an engine issue.

    The plane continued for a safe landing. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

    Qantas Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Australia

    Qantas flight QF-566 had to return and make an emergency landing in Perth, Australia, on February 27th.

    The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for Sydney, Australia, but had to turn back due to airspeed disagreement.

    The plane landed safely. All one hundred and seventy-four people aboard remained unharmed.

    Missouri Emergency Landing


    A Learjet diverted to Saint Louis Missouri and made a safe landing after the pilot experienced problems with the landing gear. The plane was coming from Wooster Ohio.

    The pilot was forced to circle Cahokia airport after experiencing trouble with the landing gear, planning to land at Parks Airport in Cahokia but eventually landing in Lambert.

    The pilot performed a flyby for the tower to inspect the landing gear, and subsequently burned off fuel, and landed without landing gear.

    None of the eight people aboard reported injury. Emergency services were on standby, and passengers exited the plane normally, and were carried via shuttle bus to the gate.

    Air Algerie Plane Veers off the Runway in Algeria

    Air AlgerieAir Algerie flight AH-6184 veered off the runway upon landing at Oran Es Senia Airport, Oran, Algeria, on April 1st.

    The Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212-A, en-route from Algiers, landed at Oran’s runway but veered off during roll out and broke a number of runway lights.

    The plane suffered substantial damage.

    All passengers onboard remained unharmed.

    Brussels Airlines Flight Returns to Brussels After First Officer Falls Ill

    Brussels Airlines flight SN-3233 had to return and make an emergency landing in Brussels, Belgium, on September 9th.

    The Airbus A319-100 plane took off for Rhodes, Greece, but had to return shortly afterwards after the first officer fell ill.

    The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.
