The airline said in a statement, “A replacement aircraft will be sent to JAX from SFB and is scheduled to depart JAX at 12:40 p.m. and arrive in IND at 2:40 p.m. Passengers will be receiving a refund for the flight segment, food at the gate, the option to change their flight to another one in the Allegiant network and $200 vouchers for future travel on Allegiant.”

Insel Air Jet Makes Emergency Landing in Dominican Republic

Insel AirInsel Air flight 531 made an emergency landing at Las Américas International Airport in Dominican Republic, on December 16.

The plane, flying from St. Maarten, had to declare an emergency after the crew noticed an issue with its cabin pressurization system.

The plane landed uneventfully. All 80 passengers aboard remained safe.
