Emirates flight EK-507 had to make an emergency landing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on June 9th.
The Boeing 777-300 aircraft was flying from Mumbai, India, when the crew reported a flat tire and requested emergency assistance.
The plane landed uneventfully. All 199 passengers and 19 crew members remained safe.

Why: In flight, the passenger became ill, necessitating an emergency landing, and immediate trip to the hospital where it was found by ex ray that he had swallowed bags of drugs.
The passenger is facing criminal charges.

Why: After takeoff, the plane made a “loud noise” and experienced engine trouble in the left engine. The pilot returned to land at the Palm Beach International within six minutes of takeoff. Passengers were provided an alternative plane.
Envoy Air flight MQ-3559 had to make an emergency landing in Manhattan, Kansas, on March 10th.
The plane, en-route from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Texas, to Manhattan, Kansas, declared emergency due to a hydraulic failure.
The plane landed safely. No injuries were reported.
A small plane had to make an emergency landing at the corner of Loop 820 and Trinity Boulevard in Fort Worth, Texas, on May 3.
The plane was returning from Globe Life Park, Arlington, when it lost oil pressure, forcing the pilot to land in emergency.

The Boeing 737-800 plane flying from Baltimore, Maryland, was on approach to Portland when the crew declared an emergency due to a problem with the flaps.
The plane landed at higher than normal speed. There were 180 people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.
