The Pilot of the Delta Connections carrier GoJet coming from St. Louis saw a crack in the windshield and made emergency landing at LaGuardia Airport, NY, on March 22.
The plane did not have any passengers on board.
Delta spokesperson said the windshield had a very thin crack and the plane remained fully pressurized. The pilot declared emergency as an extraordinary precautionary measure.
The plane has been grounded for repair and maintenance.
C-130 Makes Emergency Landing at Yeager Airport
A U.S. Air Force Reserve C-130 plane made an emergency landing at the Yeager Airport in Charleston, West Virginia, shortly after 5 p.m. on August 8.The decision for emergency landing was made after smoke was detected in the cargo area of the aircraft, going from Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The aircraft had more 42 military and retired civilian personnel on board. One of them had nausea because of the smoke and was taken to Charleston hospital.
The other passengers and crew members were transported to the Air National Guard located nearby.

Lufthansa Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Burning Odor
Lufthansa flight LH-632 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Athens, Greece, on February 28th.The Airbus A330-300 plane heading from Frankfurt, Germany, to Dammam, Saudi Arabia, was diverted after a burning odor was noticed in the cabin.
The plane landed safely. All 114 passengers and 14 crew members remained unharmed.

Naval Helicopter Returns to Newquay Airport due to Engine Issue
A British International Helicopter (BIH) Dauphin helicopter had to return and make an emergency landing at Newquay Cornwall Airport, United Kingdom, on December 15.
Authorities said the Eurocopter AS 365N2 Dauphin, based in HMS Drake, Devonport, had to declare an emergency after it developed an engine issue.
According to an airport spokesperson, “We can confirm that an AS65 helicopter with two persons on board made a precautionary return to Cornwall Airport Newquay at approximately 0930 this morning having experienced an issue with one of its engines. The aircraft landed without problem.”

Why: While en route, weather (fog) developed in Delhi, and the flight diverted to Patna where it made a safe landing. There were no injuries. American Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Los Angeles
American Airlines flight 564 made an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport, California, on February 11th.
Authorities said the plane, heading from San Jose, California, to Phoenix, Arizona, was diverted due to a mechanical issue.
The plane, carrying 125 passengers and 5 crew members, landed uneventfully.
Eight people, including seven passengers and one crew member, reported respiratory irritation and were evaluated by paramedics. Authorities said one of them was later taken to hospital.
