Drone Crashes into Empire State Building; Owner Arrested
A drone crashed into the 40th floor of the Empire State Building in New York, on February 4.
According to the owner Sean Nivin Riddle, 29, all he wanted “was to shoot 5 seconds of video to promote a non-profit”. The drone ended up in a landing on the 35th floor.
No injuries were reported.
Riddle was taken into custody after the incident. He is facing charges of illegal aviation in and over the city, and reckless endangerment.

Delta/Skywest Makes Safe Landing on one set of Landing Gear

Why: On approach to the airport, the landing gear developed problems.The plane made a safe landing at 10 pm Monday night on one set of landing gear. Passengers were bussed to the terminal. Once passenger was hospitalized.
According to news crews covering the incident, the plane looked tilted on the runway. The airport was closed for two hours after the landing.

Mahan Air Flight Returns to Delhi due to Engine Issue
Mahan Air flight W5-70 had to return and make an emergency landing in Delhi, India, on January 31st.The Airbus A340-300 plane took off for Tehran, Iran, but had to turn back after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
