Cessna Makes Emergency Landing at Quebec Highway
A Cessna 150L made an emergency landing at Highway 640 west in Mascouche, Quebec, shortly after 10 a.m. on August 8.The plane, which took off from Mascouche Airport earlier, experienced engine failure due to which it had to land on the highway at Chemin des Anglais. According to Quebec Provincial Police Sgt. Ronald McInnis, “The plane bumped a car when attempting to land on the highway, but no injuries have been reported.”
No one, including the pilot, reported any injuries.
Quebec Provincial Police suspended traffic on the highway for some time because of the emergency landing.
The Cessna 150L is registered to Carol Lavoie, Justin Lavoie, and Kevin Lavoie, from Lorraine, Quebec.
