    JetBlue Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Santo Domingo

    JetBlue flight B6-1204 had to return and make an emergency landing in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on February 25th.

    The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Newark, New Jersey, but had to turn back due to a hydraulic failure.

    The plane landed back safely. All one hundred and fifty-eight people aboard remained unharmed.

    Southwest Flight Returns to Chicago Midway Airport

    southwestnySouthwest Airlines Flight 321 had to return and make an emergency landing at Chicago Midway International Airport, at about 1:35 p.m. on September 16.

    The flight was on its way to LaGuardia Airport when shortly after taking off, an engine warning light turned on in the cockpit. The pilots then decided to return to Chicago for an emergency landing.

    The aircraft landed safely and all 118 passengers aboard remained unharmed.

    The passengers were accommodated in other flights.

    Ryanair flight Diverts to France due to Medical Emergency

    RyanairRyanair flight FR9886 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Bordeaux, France, on May 17th.

    The plane, heading from Liverpool, England, to Alicante, Spain, was diverted due to a medical emergency.

    According to an airline spokesperson, “This flight from Liverpool to Alicante diverted to Bordeaux after a customer became ill on board. The crew called ahead to request medical assistance, the aircraft landed normally and the customer disembarked and was met by medics for further treatment.”

    JetBlue Plane Diverts to South Dakota after Mid-Air Turbulence

    JetBlueJetBlue flight 429 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Sioux Falls Regional Airport, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on August 11th.

    The aircraft carrying 151 people from Massachusetts to Sacramento, California, was mid-air when it encountered severe turbulence, prompting the plane to divert.

    The plane landed uneventfully.

    At least 20 passengers sustained injuries.

    The injured were taken to hospital.

    Frontier Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Albuquerque

    Frontier Airlines flight F9-1686 made an emergency landing in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on November 22nd.

    The Airbus A320-200 plane heading from Las Vegas, Nevada, to Nashville, Tennessee, was diverted after the crew noticed an odor in the cockpit.

    The plane landed safely. All one hundred and seventy-eight passengers and six crew members remained unharmed.

    JetBlue Flight Rejects Takeoff From Fort Lauderdale

    JetBlue flight B6-2801 had to reject takeoff from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on January 20th.

    The Airbus A321-200 plane was accelerating to takeoff for Los Angeles, California, when the crew received a gear indication and rejected takeoff.

    The plane safely returned to the apron. Everyone aboard remained safe.
