Why: On takeoff, the plane blew a “front” tire. However, the flight continued to Las Vegas as scheduled. They landed with emergency crews on standby, and after landing taxied to the edge of the runway. The tire was repaired, and the plane continued to the gate, where passengers disembarked.

As you see, the FAA report indicates that the plane lost a piece of itself on landing. I don’t know what’s more curious–what exactly fell off the MD-90 when it landed (generally I don’t think of external plane parts as optional); or if the dropped item was related to the plane’s delay in Cincinnati.
Jetlite Flight Goes Flat on Nagpur Runway

Why: After landing, while the plane was taxiing towards the bay, one of the tires on the nose-wheel deflated. The plane was briefly taken out of commission for repair, inconveniencing some passengers on the scheduled return flight. Allegiant Jet Makes Emergency Landing at Chicago Rockford Airport
Allegiant Air flight 8503 had to make an emergency landing at Chicago Rockford International Airport in Rockford, Illinois, on April 8.The plane took off from South Bend, Indiana and was heading to Wendover, Utah when the pilot reported an oil filter malfunction. FAA spokesperson Tony Molinaro confirmed that the plane made an uneventful emergency landing as a precaution.
The plane was a charter for the Resorts at Wendover and was carrying around 115 people at the time.
The passengers were accommodated in local hotels and were transported back to South Bend next day.

Allegiant Air Flight Diverts to St. Petersburg Due to Bad Weather
Allegiant Air flight 977 had to make an emergency landing at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport in St. Petersburg, Florida, at 7:53 p.m. on July 3.The MD-83 aircraft, en-route to Putna Gorda in Florida, from Asheville, North Carolina, had to divert because of bad weather conditions.
According to Allegiant, the pilot had to declare emergency before landing when an “indicator light” indicated a “maintenance issue” in the plane.
The plane, carrying 146 passengers and 6 crew members, landed uneventfully.
The passengers were adjusted in a replacement flight.
The issue is being investigated.
Emirates Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Dubai
Emirates Airlines flight EK-607 made an emergency landing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on September 6th.The plane was flying from Karachi, Pakistan, when the crew declared an emergency due to indication of a flat tire.
The plane landed uneventfully. All passengers and crew members remained safe.

Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter Plane makes Safe Landing in Germany after Tyre Deflation
Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter (LGW) flight AB-8883 made a safe landing at Düsseldorf Airport, Germany, on July 3rd.The de Havilland Dash 8-400 flying on behalf of Air Berlin from Florence, Italy, was mid-air when the crew got information about tyre debris found on the runway after departure.
The plane landed safely after entering a hold.
No one was injured.
Inspection revealed that one of the plane tyres was deflated.
