Malaysia Airlines flight MH148 had to return and make an emergency landing at Tullamarine airport in Melbourne, Australia, on June 12.
The flight was en-route from Melbourne to Kuala Lumpur when the crew reported a possible engine fire and requested an emergency landing.
The plane landed safely and none of the 300 passengers reported any injuries.
According to the airline, the initial inspection of the aircraft showed “no physical evidence of fire externally”.
Azur Air Plane Returns to Russia after Bird Ingestion
Azur Air flight ZF-7777 had to return and make an emergency landing at Domodedovo International Airport, Moscow, Russia, on November 23.
The Boeing 767-300 en-route to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, had to return after one of its engines ingested a bird.
The plane had to burn fuel before landing.

The Airbus A320-200 plane heading from Denver, Colorado, to San Diego, California, was diverted after the crew noticed a hydraulic leak.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
Delta Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Atlanta
Delta Airlines flight DL-151 had to return to Atlanta, Georgia, on June 14th.
The Boeing 767-400 plane took off for Lima, Peru, but had to turn back due to an engine problem.
On approach to Atlanta, the crew also reported a flaps problem. The plane subsequently landed at higher than normal speed.
All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
