Why: The Airbus experienced pressurization issues en route. The plane returned to Vancouver and landed safely an hour after it left.

Southwest Airlines made an emergency landing in Orlando, Florida, on February 21st.The Boeing 737-800 plane heading from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Denver, Colorado, was diverted due to a suspected nose tire damage.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
Czech Airlines Flight Returns to Prague due to Navigation Problems
Czech Airlines flight OK-508 had to return and make an emergency landing in Prague, Czech Republic, on September 18th.The plane took off for Copenhagen, Denmark, but had to turn back due to navigation problems.
The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
United Airways Plane Makes Emergency Landing in India after Engine Failure
United Airways flight 4H-585 had to make an emergency landing at Swami Vivekananda Airport, Raipur, India, on August 7th.The Bangladeshi carrier’s McDonnell Douglas MD-83 aircraft, en-route from Dhaka, Bangladesh, to Muscat, Oman, was forced to make an emergency landing due to engine failure.
The plane with 173 people aboard landed uneventfully.
No injuries were reported.

Why: After takeoff, one engine failed, and the crew decided to return to Mumbai rather than fly without a backup engine. After three hours, the passengers were provided a replacement plane.
