Air India flight AI-401 suffered a cracked windshield on the way to Kolkata, India, on August 13th.
The incident happened when the Boeing 787-800 plane was flying from Delhi, India.
The plane continued for a safe landing. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
An Air India flight attendant fell off the plane onto the tarmac at Mumbai Airport, India, on October 15th.
The incident happened when the flight attendant on flight AI-864 to Delhi was attempting to close an aircraft door.
She received serious leg injuries and was taken to a hospital.

What: Jet Airways Boeing 737-800 en route from Mumbai to Chennai
Where: Mumbai

Who: 140 passengers, 6 crew
Why: While taxiing for takeoff, off duty crew reported smoke near the left wing; procedures were not followed (i.e. fire suppression system was not engaged.)
The flight was evacuated; 26 passengers were injured, and the plane received damage from exiting passengers via the overwing exit.
India suspended he six crew members as well as 4 additional crew aboard.
No fire was found.

What: Westjet Airlines Boeing 737-700 en route from Calgary to Halifax
Where: Winnipeg
When: Jul 6th 2010
Who: 131 on board
Why: While en route, a passenger attempted to open a door to the plane. The flight diverted to Winnipeg where the passenger was detained and taken into custody to be charged with “endangering safety of an aircraft and interference with flight crew.” After a nearly three hour delay, the flight continued to Halifax.

What: Delta Airlines Boeing 767-400 en route from New York to Athens
Where: Manchester England
When: Midnight (E.T.)
Who: 231 passengers and 12 crew
Why: While en route over the Irish sea, smoke was detected in the cockpit. The crew diverted to Manchester where they made a safe landing.

United Airlines flight UA-2 made an emergency landing at Narita International Airport, Japan, on November 28th.
The Boeing 787-900 plane was heading from Singapore to San Francisco, California, when it encountered turbulence twice, causing injuries to two crew members.
The crew subsequent diverted to Narita International Airport.
The plane landed safely. The injured were taken to a hospital.
KLM flight KL-887 encountered severe turbulence near Hong Kong, China, on June 4th.
The Boeing 747-400 plane was flying from Amsterdam, Netherlands, when it hit turbulence that injured nine people.
The plane continued for a safe landing. Eight of the injured, including six passengers and two crew members were taken to hospital.
