    American Airlines Plane Returns to Heathrow after Medical Emergency

    American AirlinesAmerican Airlines flight AA109 had to return and make an emergency landing at London’s Heathrow Airport, on January 27.

    The Boeing 777 took off for Los Angeles, California, but had to return shortly afterwards after two passengers and several crew members fell ill midair.

    The plane, carrying 172 passengers and 16 crew members, landed uneventfully. The patients were evaluated by paramedics.

    The airline said, “Our maintenance team conducted a thorough inspection of the aircraft, including a test flight, and found no issues with the Boeing 777-300. Out of an abundance of caution, all of the air filters on the aircraft were replaced.”

    Delta Airlines Flight Diverts to JFK Airport After Hydraulic Failure

    Delta Airlines flight DL-20 had to divert and make an emergency landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, on September 24th.

    The Boeing 767-300 plane heading from Newark, New Jersey, to Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, was diverted due to a hydraulic failure.

    The plane landed safely. All two hundred and five people aboard remained unharmed.

    Horizon Air Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Portland

    Horizon AirHorizon Air flight QX-2150 made an emergency landing in Portland, Oregon, on August 2nd.

    The crew requested emergency services after the plane blew a tire on takeoff from Reno, Nevada.

    The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained uninjured.
