Aeromexico Boeing 737-700 made a safe emergency landing at Ciudad Juárez International Airport, Mexico, on July 5th.
The Boeing 737-700 flying from Mexico City was about to land when the crew notice hydraulic failure affecting its flaps.
The plane landed safely.
No one was injured.
American Airlines flight AA109 had to return and make an emergency landing at London’s Heathrow Airport, on January 27.
The Boeing 777 took off for Los Angeles, California, but had to return shortly afterwards after two passengers and several crew members fell ill midair.
The plane, carrying 172 passengers and 16 crew members, landed uneventfully. The patients were evaluated by paramedics.
The airline said, “Our maintenance team conducted a thorough inspection of the aircraft, including a test flight, and found no issues with the Boeing 777-300. Out of an abundance of caution, all of the air filters on the aircraft were replaced.”
Delta Airlines flight DL-20 had to divert and make an emergency landing at John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, on September 24th.
The Boeing 767-300 plane heading from Newark, New Jersey, to Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, was diverted due to a hydraulic failure.
The plane landed safely. All two hundred and five people aboard remained unharmed.
Horizon Air flight QX-2150 made an emergency landing in Portland, Oregon, on August 2nd.
The crew requested emergency services after the plane blew a tire on takeoff from Reno, Nevada.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained uninjured.
JetBlue flight B6-1206 had to return and make an emergency landing at Portland International Airport, Oregon, on November 26th.
The plane took off for John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, but had to turn back due to a bird strike.
