American Airlines flight AA-6005 suffered a bird strike near Sacramento International Airport, California, on November 27th.
The incident happened when the plane flying from Los Angeles, California, was on final approach to Sacramento Airport.
The plane continued for a safe landing. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
Cathay Pacific flight CX289 had to make an emergency landing in Urumqi, Xinjiang, China, on May 7.
The flight was heading from Hong Kong to Frankfurt when a Singaporean air steward Vincent Chee suffered a stroke. The plane was then diverted to Urumqi where it made a safe emergency landing.
Chee was rushed to hospital while the flight resumed with a 4 hour delay.
Authorities confirmed that Chee had died on May 12.

Why: While en route about fifteen minutes into the flight, passengers on Allegiant Air Duluth-Las Vegas heard a loud bang. Pilots declared emergency.
Fifty miles into the flight, pilots shut down the affected engine, and returned to Duluth International Airport. Emergency services including National Guard, firefighters and emergency responders were on stand by.
Passengers were offered $50 vouchers and the opportunity to stay at the Residence Inn. Passengers were told that the replacement flight departed at 2:30 p.m. Saturday but it did not depart until 3:55 pm. Meanwhile, Allegiant Mechanics removed the ailing engine from the disabled plane.
Andes Lineas Aereas flight OY-855 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Tucuman Airport, Argentina, on March 7th.
