Why: While en route, the left engine developed problems and had to be shut down. Pilots returned to Hong Kong where they made a safe landing. A replacement jet was provided.
JetBlue flight B6-2020 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Jacksonville International Airport, Florida, on June 9th.
The Embraer ERJ-190, en-route from For Lauderdale, Florida, to Worcester, UK, had to divert due to a system malfunction.
The plane landed safely.
No one was injured.
