Qantas flight QF-93 had to divert for an emergency landing in Sydney, Australia, on June 29th.
The plane heading from Melbourne, Australia, to Los Angeles, California, was diverted after an indicator light in the cockpit switched on.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Why: While en route from Flint, the crew found and reported a cracked windshield. The crew made an emergency landing in Louisville. Passengers debarked safely, and alternative transportation was provided.
Ryanair flight FR2829 had to make an emergency landing at Bordeaux Airport, France, at 8:28 p.m. on February 25.
Emergency was declared aboard the Boeing 737-800 aircraft, after 2 flight attendants were injured due to severe turbulence. Local media reported that one crew member suffered a fractured ankle while another one sustained back injury.
According to an airline spokesperson, “This flight from Reus to Brussels Charleroi diverted to Bordeaux after experiencing some air turbulence…The aircraft landed normally and medical personnel treated two cabin crew members who had minor injuries…A spare aircraft and replacement crew were sent from Barcelona to minimise the delay for customers, who were provided with refreshment vouchers in Bordeaux…Ryanair apologised sincerely to all customers affected by this diversion and delay.”
Delta Airlines flight DL-8957 was intercepted by two Greek F-16 fighter aircrafts on May 19th.
According to the airline, the radio contact with Greek ATC was lost for a brief period of time when the Boeing 767-400, en-route from Frankfurt, Germany, to Kuwait, was transiting through Greek Airspace.
The fighter jets returned to the airbase as the communication was restored.
The flight continued to Kuwait.
Delta Airlines flight DL-1827 made an emergency landing in Orlando, Florida, on August 28th.
The plane flying from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to Atlanta, Georgia, was diverted after the crew reported a flaps problem.
The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unhurt.
KLM flight KL-891 had to return and make an emergency landing in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on December 10th.
The Boeing 787-900 plane took off for Chengdu, China, but had to turn back after one of the engines stalled.
The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
Iran Air flight IR-721 had to return and make an emergency landing at Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport, Robat Karim, Iran, on May 27th.
The Airbus A300-600 flying to Frankfurt, Germany, had to return due to an unusual odor aboard.
The plane landed safely.
No one was injured.
The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
