Southwest Airlines flight 4519 made an emergency landing at Corpus Christi International Airport, Texas, on June 25th.
Authorities said the plane flying from Los Angeles, California, to Houston, Texas, was diverted due to a disruptive passenger.
The plane landed safely. The disruptive passenger was taken into custody.
A Serbian military aircraft crashed near Kovacica, Serbia, on April 11th.
The Super-Galeb G-4 plane was carrying two people when it went down.
One pilot was killed in the crash while his co-pilot sustained serious injuries.
The cause of crash is being investigated.
UTair Aviation flight UT-295 made an emergency landing at Vnukovo International Airport, Russia, on October 15th.
The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for Surgut, Russia, but had turn back after the crew noticed smoke in the cockpit.
The plane landed back safely. There were one hundred and seventy-five people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.
Jet Airways Flight 9W 202 made an emergency landing at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, Pakistan, on November 7th.
The plane flying from New Delhi, India to Doha, Qatar, was diverted due to a medical emergency.
Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) confirmed that the plane declared a medical emergency after a passenger’s medical condition became critical. However, the passenger passed away on landing in Karachi.

Why: On approach to Salt Lake City, the plane encountered turbulence. The pilot diverted to Grand Junction, where they landed an hour later. Three individuals were injured, and treated by paramedics.

Why: While en route, the plane indicated smoke in the crew rest area.
Pilots diverted to Lajes Airport on Terceira Island, Azores where they made a safe landing.
The plane is expected to embark on the last leg of the journey within 24 hours.
A small plane crash-landed at Richard I. Bong Memorial Airport, Superior, Wisconsin, on May 27.
According to fire officials, the pilot of the single-engine Bellanca 8KCAB aircraft reported technical issues before crash-landing in a field.
The pilot and his only passenger remained unharmed.
The FAA will investigate the cause of crash.
