Southwest Airlines flight 4519 made an emergency landing at Corpus Christi International Airport, Texas, on June 25th.

Authorities said the plane flying from Los Angeles, California, to Houston, Texas, was diverted due to a disruptive passenger.

The plane landed safely. The disruptive passenger was taken into custody.

ASL Airlines France Plane Diverts to France due to Disruptive Passenger

ASLASL Airlines France flight had to divert and make a forced emergency landing at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport, Blagnac, France, on September 14th.

The Boeing 737 en-route from Glasgow, Scotland, to Ibiza Island, was mid-air when an intoxicated passenger started causing disruption in the cabin, prompting the crew to divert.

The plane landed uneventfully.

The man was taken into custody before the flight continued to its destination.

Suspicious Man Rams Pickup Truck into Southwest Plane in Nebraska

southwest_airlines_logoA man wearing boxers scaled a fence and rammed into a pickup truck into a Southwest airplane at Eppley Airfield, Omaha, Nebraska, on August 25th.

The aircraft was bound for Denver, Colorado, when the man drove the truck and rammed it into the plane’s nose gear.

Two crew members and one passenger sustained minor injuries in the accident.

The man was taken into police custody for further investigation.

Ryanair Flight Diverts to Berlin due to Disruptive Passengers

RyanairA Ryanair flight had to divert and make an emergency landing at Berlin Schonefeld Airport, Germany, on February 26th.

The plane, heading from London Luton Airport in Bedfordshire, England, to Bratislava, Slovakia, was diverted after six drunk passengers became aggressive mid-flight.

The six men were a part of 12-man stag party group from Southampton, led by 26-year-old groom-to-be Joshua Marriner. Some sources reported that the passengers became violent after they were refused more alcohol.

The plane landed uneventfully. The disruptive passengers were taken into custody by German federal police in Berlin.

The flight resumed after a short delay.

Drone Crashes into Empire State Building; Owner Arrested

A drone crashed into the 40th floor of the Empire State Building in New York, on February 4.

According to the owner Sean Nivin Riddle, 29, all he wanted “was to shoot 5 seconds of video to promote a non-profit”. The drone ended up in a landing on the 35th floor.

No injuries were reported.

Riddle was taken into custody after the incident. He is facing charges of illegal aviation in and over the city, and reckless endangerment.

United Airlines Plane Diverts to Detroit due to Disruptive Passenger

new-united-logoUnited Airlines flight 3461 had to make an emergency landing at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, Michigan, on January 7.

The plane heading from LaGuardia Airport, New York, to O’Hare International Airport, Chicago, had to be diverted due to an unruly passenger. It is believed that a woman asked to be let off the plane mid-air and when the crew members told her it was not possible, she became aggressive and attacked the passengers and crew.

The woman was restrained using scarves, belts, seat belts when the plane, carrying 69 passengers and 4 crew, landed in Detroit.

She was taken into custody by the FBI. The plane resumed its journey after a short delay.

The flight was being operated by Shuttle America.

Wizz Air Jet Diverts to Sweden after Passenger Tries to Kick Down Cockpit Door

WizzAirWizz Air flight W63215 made an emergency landing in Malmo, Sweden, on November 3.

Authorities said the pilot declared an emergency after an unruly passenger kicked the cockpit door and tried to open two emergency exits. The passengers wrestled him to the ground while the plane, en-route from Bucharest, Romania to Torp, Norway, was diverted to Sweden.

The plane landed safely. The 43-year-old man was taken into custody.

The plane took off again and reached its destination with a delay of 1.5 hours.
