The plane flying from Toronto, Canada, to London, United Kingdom, was diverted after a 10-year-old girl had a cardiac arrest midair.
The plane landed safely. The child was immediately taken to University Hospital Limerick where she was later pronounced dead.
Eurowings flight EW-7764 made an emergency landing in Hamburg, Germany, on November 7th.

Why: On approach to Guernsey, the plane’s nosecone was struck by lightning. The plane made a safe landing and no one was injured. The nose cone received some visible damage. Subsequent to the strike, the plane was grounded for inspection.
A single-engine plane crashed between Amador Road and Gopher Flat Road, near Sutter Creek city in Amador County, California, shortly after 12:30 p.m. on December 24.
The Cessna 172 went down when it was heading from Gilroy to Sutter Creek with 2 people aboard.
Authorities said both occupants were killed in the crash. They were identified as Phillip Faillers, 52, of Sutter Creek and his son Alex, 21.
The accident is under investigation. It is believed that fog might have contributed to the crash.
Lufthansa flight LH-16 made an emergency landing in Hamburg, Germany, on June 16th.

The plane continued for a safe landing. The passengers were examined by medical teams at the airport while four crew members were taken to hospital.
