    Aerial Banners Hard Landing in Panama City Florida


    An Aerial Banners Inc pilot flying a Piper PA-25-235 Pawnee B impacted terrain near Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport Panama City Florida on or near Vinson Road, but pilot James Land only received minor injuries.

    The pilot suffered cuts to his head and was hospitalized.

    Bay County Fire and Rescue, and deputies of BCSO responded to the scene.

    Aerial Banners Inc who owns the plane will be removing the wreckage.

    According to Bay County Press, the pilot “picked up a banner from the airport at 1400 and climbed to 900” but dropped the banner on losing power. He was attempting a landing but the engine failed before he reached a clearing.

    Hop! Airlines flight AF-7478 made an emergency landing at Paris Orly Airport, France, on March 23rd.

    The plane took off for Quimper, France, but had to return shortly afterwards due to a fuel metering issue.

    RyanairRyanair flight FR6695 made an emergency landing at London Stansted Airport, United Kingdom, on May 17.

    The plane was en-route from Edinburgh to Malta when it had to divert due to a medical emergency on-board.

    According to an airline statement, “This flight from Edinburgh to Malta (17 May) diverted to London Stansted after a customer became ill on board… The crew called ahead to request medical assistance, the aircraft landed normally and the customer was met by an ambulance upon arrival, before the aircraft departed to Malta…Ryanair apologised to all customers affected by this short delay.”

    United Airlines flight 4340 had to divert for an emergency landing in Little Rock, Arkansas, on April 2nd.

    The plane en-route from Houston, Texas, to Columbus, Ohio, was diverted due to problems with the electronic equipment on-board.

    Indian Navy Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing due to Technical Glitch

    50743948An Indian Navy Helicopter made an emergency landing at a beach near Alappuzha, Kerala, India, on January 27.

    The Chetak helicopter was on a routine mission when it experienced a technical glitch, prompting the pilot to make a precautionary landing.

    Everyone aboard remained unhurt.

    A Naval spokesperson said, “A team from the Naval Base was dispatched to assist the crew and after rectification of the fault, which was minor, the aircraft returned to Kochi.”
