    Single-Engine Beechcraft Crashed in North Carolina; 3 Killed

    Beechcraft BonanzaA single-engine plane crashed and caught fire near Horneytown, in the south of Kernersville, Forsyth County, North Carolina, at 12:12 P.M on September 7.

    The Beechcraft A36 was en-route to Piedmont Triad International Airport, North Carolina, from Sarasota, Florida, at the time.

    The airport’s director Kevin Baker said the pilot was communicating a problem to ATC before the crash, but could not explain it.

    The FAA and NTSB were investigating the crash.

    According to an NTSB spokesperson, 3 people lost their lives in the accident.

    Eastern Airways Flight Returns to Aberdeen After Bird Strike

    Eastern Airways flight T3-1035 had to return and make an emergency landing in Aberdeen, Scotland, on June 27th.

    The plane took off for Shetland, Scotland, but had to turn back after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines due to a bird strike.

    The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

    Copa Airlines Flight Diverts to Mexico City After Auto-Pilot Failure

    Copa Airlines flight CM-156 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Mexico City, Mexico, on October 18th.

    The plane heading from Monterrey, Mexico, to Panama City, Panama, was diverted due to the autopilot failure.

    The plane landed safely. All sixty-nine passengers and five crew members remained unharmed.

    Frontier Airlines Plane Diverts to Missouri due to Cracked Windshield

    Frontier Airlines flight F9-722 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Kansas City International Airport, Missouri, on July 2nd.

    The Airbus A320-200 flying from Colorado, to Washington, had to divert due to cracked windshield.

    The plane landed safely.

    No injuries were reported.

    Why: smokey stench in the forward galley. The plane made a successful emergency landing, without further incident.

    Plane Crash at Arizona Golf Course Leaves 6 Dead

    A small plane crashed at a golf course in Scottsdale, Arizona, on April 9th.

    The plane, carrying six people, crashed at the TPC Scottsdale Champions Course shortly after departing Scottsdale Airport.

    All six occupants of the plane were killed in the crash.

    An investigation into the cause of crash is underway.
