A British Airways flight had to return and make a precautionary landing at Gatwick Airport, Horley, England, on September 1st.The plane en-route to Crete, Greece, had to return shortly after the cabin was filled with a strong smell, similar to that of cannabis.

The charter flight was on its way to Nanjing, China, when a Chinese passenger threw boiling hot water and noodles at a flight attendant.
The airline said in statement, “An unidentified female passenger assaulted the flight attendant with the hot liquid after becoming dissatisfied with the service…The captain of the flight decided to return the plane to Don Mueang Airport deeming her actions as endangering to other passengers and impeding in-flight service.”
The plane landed safely and the flight attendant was given medical aid.
The unruly passengers, along with 3 accompanying people, were removed from the plane.

Air India Jet Returns to New Delhi due to Hydraulic Issue
Air India flight AI 973 had to return and make an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, India, on October 4.The Airbus A319 took off for Muscat but had to return shortly afterwards after the pilot reported a hydraulic leak.
The plane landed safely. There were 80 passengers aboard at the time; all of them remained unhurt.
The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

Hop! Airlines flight A5-3557 made an emergency landing in Strasbourg, France, on February 14th.The plane was flying from Toulouse, France, when the captain declared an emergency, reporting that the first officer has become unconscious.
The plane continued for a safe landing. All 46 passengers aboard remained safe.
The first officer had regained consciousness before the landing. He was taken to hospital.
