A Turkish Airlines passenger jet, en route from Brussels to Istanbul, made an emergency landing at the Sofia Airport, Bulgaria, at about 19:00 EEST on August 9.
The decision was made after the authorities suspected that a laptop with an unknown owner could contain an explosive device.
The plane landed safely and all the passengers were off loaded and led to a safe location. The suspected laptop was seized for examination however, no threat was established.
The flight resumed after a short time.
