Why: Around 8:15 witnesses heard the plane flying low. It crashed in a corn field south East County Road 400, near Henry Road two miles from the airport Weather at the time was rainy. The pilot was killed in the crash.

A small plane made an emergency landing in Dallas, Texas, on February 11th.
Authorities said the pilot reported engine issues before the plane landed in a field near South Lancaster Road and Loop 12 in southeast Oak Cliff.

Why: After take-off, the plane developed problems with the leading-edge slats, which could not be retracted. Pilots returned to Atlanta where the flight maintained for 3.5 hours at 10,000ft, dumped and burn-off fuel.At 23:10, the flight made a slats-but-no-flaps landing, after which passengers disembarked. There were no injuries. Passengers were provided an alternative flight.
Total CEO Killed in Moscow Plane Crash
A business plane collided with a snow removal machine at Vnukovo International Airport in Moscow, Russia, on the night of October 20.
Christophe de Margerie, the Chief Executive Officer of French oil company Total S.A., was aboard the aircraft at the time. The company confirmed that he was killed in the accident.
Three French crew members were also killed in the crash.
Authorities said that the French-made Dassault Falcon 50 corporate plane was taking off for France when it collided with the snow removal machine. The driver of the machine remained uninjured.
Moscow transport investigators said that they had launched a criminal investigation and that French authorities would also be invited to participate.
