SAS Flight Diverts to Scotland due to Cabin Pressure Issues
Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) flight SK 4604 landed at Aberdeen International Airport, Scotland under emergency conditions on the afternoon of May 10.Boeing 737-883 was en-route from Dublin, Ireland to Oslo, Norway but had to divert to Aberdeen due to issues with cabin pressure.
The plane, carrying around 169 passengers and 6 crew members, landed safely and everyone aboard remained unhurt.
The passengers were accommodated in another plane.
Glider Plane Makes Emergency Landing outside Waynesville
A glider plane made an emergency landing in a field along Township Line Road and Harlan Road, just outside Waynesville, Ohio at around 5 p.m. on June 17.The glider pilot Kevin Anderson explained that he had to land the plane due to strong wind, however it was a “nice easy landing”.
Ohio State Highway Patrol confirmed that the incident did not cause any injuries or damage to the plane.

American Airlines Plane Diverts to Canada after Engine Failure
An American Airlines plane had to make an emergency landing at Stephenville Airport in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, on August 27.The Airbus 330-300, heading from Italy to North Carolina, was diverted after one of its engines failed.
The plane, carrying no passengers and only 3 crew members, landed safely. No injuries were reported.

Yakima Emergency Landing

Why: While en route, the plane developed smoke in the aft galley.Pilots diverted to Yakima, where they made a safe landing with emergency services on standby. The call came in at 9:22 a.m.and the plane landed at 9:40.
It was determined that the source of the smoke seems to have been a coffee pot or oven in the galley. A replacement jet was provided.

The source of the problem could have been an electrical short, and the air quality may have been affected, so despite jokes about landing over kitchen equipment, the airport manager and airline management stand by the pilots decisions, which are based on correct emergency response which resulted in no deaths, no injuries.
