Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) flight SK 4604 landed at Aberdeen International Airport, Scotland under emergency conditions on the afternoon of May 10.
Boeing 737-883 was en-route from Dublin, Ireland to Oslo, Norway but had to divert to Aberdeen due to issues with cabin pressure.
The plane, carrying around 169 passengers and 6 crew members, landed safely and everyone aboard remained unhurt.
The passengers were accommodated in another plane.
Blue Air flight 0B-3077 made an emergency landing at Henri Coanda International Airport, Romania, on August 22nd.
The plane took off for Oradea, Romania, but had to turn back due to an issue with the cabin pressure.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
A singe engine plane had to make an emergency landing at New Century Airport, Johnson County, Kansas, on the night of October 30.
According to Johnson County spokesperson Jody Hanson, the pilot of Piper PA-32 aircraft decided to make an emergency landing after a bird hit the aircraft’s windshield near Olathe.
The plane landed safely and the pilot did not need medical treatment.
A Westjet Encore flight WS-3119 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Vancouver International Airport, British Columbia, Canada, on July 26th.
The de Havilland Dash 8-400 flying from Kelowna, to Vancouver, Canada, had to divert when after its gear doors could not shut.
The plane landed safely.
No one was injured.
The United Airlines Flight 999 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Canada’s Halifax Stanfield International Airport on the night of August 5.
The Boeing 777 was on its way to Brussels from Newark, New Jersey, when fire broke out on board. The pilot then decided to divert to Halifax which was the nearest airport at the time.
Firefighters were put on alert at the airport when the plane touched the ground safely at around 10 p.m. There were 233 people aboard; all of them remained unhurt.
According to Peter Spurway, the spokesperson of Halifax Airport Authority, the fire broke in a contained area of the aircraft and was extinguished before the plane landed.

Boeing-manufactured aircraft displayed by other countries will include a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker and C-17 Globemaster III, and a Royal New Zealand Air Force Boeing 757.
The Boeing-sponsored Afternoon Airshow and Night Alight Finale on March 4 will feature the RAAF’s new advanced, multirole Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornets. A United Express flight had to make an emergency landing in Springfield, Missouri, on October 24.
The flight, en-route from Birmingham, Alabama to Denver, Colorado, was diverted after crew reported cabin depressurization problem.
The plane landed uneventfully. The airport spokesperson confirmed that 3 passengers were treated for nose and sinus issues which commonly occur in case of cabin depressurization.
The airline arranged another aircraft which took the passengers to their destination.
