What: Continental Airlines Boeing 757-200 en route from Newark to Lisbon
Where: west of the Azores
When: Feb 27th 2010
Why: While en route, after experiencing unreliable airspeed and losing communication (briefly), the flight again made radio contact and diverted to Lajes on Terceira Island. With partial avionic functions, and no autopilot, they made a safe landing.

Scandinavian Airlines flight SK-944 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, on April 16th.
Aer Lingus flight EI-110 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Boston, Massachusetts, on October 2nd.
Royal Air Maroc flight AT-208 made an emergency landing in Montreal, Canada, on October 6th.
ASL Airlines Ireland flight QY-135 had to return and make an emergency landing at Orio al Serio International Airport, Italy, on August 23rd.
