Turkish Airlines Plane Overruns Runway in Kosovo
Turkish Airlines flight overran the runway of Pristina International Airport, Pristina, Kosovo, on May 2nd.
The Boeing 737-800 en-route from Istanbul, Turkey, landed at Pristina’s runway and veered off before coming to a stop at the soft ground, 40 meters past the runway end and about 20 meters left of the paved surface of the runway end safety area.
All the passengers disembarked the plane safely.
The incident remains under investigation.
