    Belavia Flight diverts to Samara

    A Belavia Boeing 737-524 en route from Astana to Minsk diverted to Samara.

    Pilots reported a problem in the fuel system. There were 92 passengers aboard, none of whom were reported with any injury. Passengers were assured they would be able to reach their destination.

    Delta Airlines Plane Diverts and Makes Emergency Landing in Maryland

    250px-Delta_logo.svgDelta Airlines flight DL-2285 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, Baltimore, Maryland, on March 23.

    The Boeing 737-900, en-route from New York to Orlando, Florida, was above Baltimore when the crew reported smoke indication, prompting the plane to divert.

    The plane landed safely.

    All 181 people on board remained unharmed.

    Moscow: Transaero Boeing Hydraulic Issue

    When: May 19th 2010
    Who: 87 passengers
    Why: While en route, the crew received an indication of low hydraulic pressure. The flight returned to Moscow and made a safe landing. Passengers were booked onto other flights.

    Delta Airlines Flight Diverts to Phoenix due to Landing Gear Issue

    250px-Delta_logo.svgDelta Airlines flight DL-2362 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Phoenix, Arizona, on June 24th.

    The Boeing 757-200 plane, heading from Los Angeles, California, to John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, was diverted due to a problem with landing gear.

    The plane landed uneventfully. All 158 passengers and 6 crew members remained safe.

    Atlas Dreamliner Emergency Landing at Paine Field

    The Atlas Air Boeing 747 en route from Everett to Japan had taken off when the hydraulics failed. When the nose gear doors failed, pilots did a fly by and returned to the airport.

    The 747 is retrofitted to carry Dreamliner parts, and dubbed a “dreamlifter.”

    The flight departed from Paine Field at 3 pm.

    The flight made a safe landing.

    Condor Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Gander

    condor airlinesCondor Airlines flight DE-2199 made an emergency landing in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, on November 28th.

    The Boeing 767-300 plane was flying from Varadero, Cuba, to Frankfurt, Germany, when the crew declared an emergency due to electrical issues.

    The plane landed safely. There were 275 people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.
