A small plane made an emergency landing at the Crete Municipal Airport, Nebraska, on November 25.
According to Saline County Emergency Management officials, the plane, heading from Crete to Salina, Kansas, was forced to turn back and land in emergency due to a landing gear malfunction.
The plane landed uneventfully.
There were 2 people aboard including the pilot Mitch Edwards. Both of them remained unharmed.
The FAA is investigating.
What: Aerolineas Mas turbo prop en route to Havana
Where: Camaguey Cuba
When: Nov 15, 2011
Who: 19 Haitians aboard
Why: While en route, the turbo prop experienced problems with the air conditioning system and had to divert to Camaguey Cuba. This is a few days after a chopper had to make an unplanned emergency landing in Port-au-Prince (Saturday.)
No injuries were reported.

What: KLM Boeing 777-200 en route from Atlanta,GA to Amsterdam
Where: Amsterdam
When: Feb 3
Why: After a successful flight from Atlanta to Amsterdam, the flight crew reported a flat tire prior to landing.
* (The plane’s indicators include a tire pressure indicator. As a rule, when 5 of the 6 main landing gear tires are correct, the pressure is adequate for landing.)
However, they made a successful landing and taxied to the gate.

What: Freight Runners Express Beech 1900C en route from Milwaukee,WI to Dayton,OH
Where: Milwaukee
When: Sep 16th 2010
Who: pilot
Why: The approach to Dayton was aborted when the pilot received an unsafe gear message. The pilot returned to Milwaukee, and entered a holding pattern while pilot and ACC attempted to solve technical issues.
On landing in Milwaukee, the nose gear collapsed. The plane was damaged, but the pilot was unharmed.
Dragonair flight KA-251 had to return and make an emergency landing in Yangon, Myanmar, on November 25.
The Airbus A321-200 took off for Hong Kong, China, but had to return shortly afterwards after its windshield cracked due to a bird hit.
The plane landed back safely. None of the 131 people aboard were hurt.
The passengers were accommodated in other flights.
Pobeda Airlines flight DP-522 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Vnukovo International Airport, Russia, on June 6th.
The Boeing 737-800 plane heading from Rostov to Saint Petersburg, Russia, was diverted after the crew reported strange unidentifiable noise in the cabin.
The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
Delta Airlines flight DL-1883 made a safe landing at Salt Lake City International Airport, Utah, on November 8.
The Airbus A320-200, en-route from Las Vegas, Nevada, was hit by a bird on the runway.
The plane taxied to the apron uneventfully.
No injuries were reported.
