Why: During strong winds, the helicopter crashed into a coach parked about 100m away from the Hong Kong Aviation Club. The pilot and his son who was aboard were injured, as well as the coach driver; and all involved were taken to a local hospital. After the crash, the helicopter was reported as leaking fuel.

Small Plane Makes Safe Emergency Landing on a Duplin County Road
A Piper aircraft made an emergency landing on River Road, near Interstate 40, in Duplin County, North Carolina, on the afternoon of December 11.The plane, en-route from Maryland to Wilmington, was forced to land in emergency after it lost oil pressure. Authorities said the pilot was trying to land at Wallace Airport but could not make it to there and landed on a road.
The pilot, who was the only one aboard, remained uninjured. He managed to push the aircraft off the road immediately after landing.
The plane’s right wing sustained minor damage.

Hawaiian Airlines Plane Returns to Kahului Airport
Hawaiian Airlines flight 24 had to return and make an emergency landing at Kahului airport, Hawaii, on May 1.Authorities said the plane took off for Oakland, California but returned half an hour later due to odor of fumes onboard.
The plane, carrying 224 passengers, landed uneventfully. The passengers were evacuated via emergency slides.
The airline confirmed that 2 people were shifted to hospital with minor injuries.

JetBlue Flight Makes Emergency Landing in San Juan
JetBlue flight B6-949 made an emergency landing in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on September 15th.The Airbus A320-200 plane heading from John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, to St. George’s, Grenada, was diverted due to a mechanical issue.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
