    Piper Crash in Texas Kills Three Salt Lake City Men


    On 12-JAN-2013, at 9:00 a Celtic Bank LLC Piper PA-46-500TP Malibu Meridian en route from Fox field in Paris Texas to Austin, but crashed minutes after takeoff, in Glory Texas.

    There was fog in the area at the time of the crash.

    The three people aboard the plane, pilot Rob Thompson, passenger Michael Endo who was Senior Vice-President of Celtic Bank and the bank’s commercial loan officer, and Michael Dale Bradley who was owner and Real Estate Broker with MBA Realty and who was consulting on a property sale.

    All three men were from Salt Lake City Utah.

    U.S. Airways Flight Diverts to Houston due to Engine Malfunction

    US Airways expressU.S. Airways Flight 5568 made an emergency landing at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Houston, Texas, on March 27.

    Emergency was declared aboard the plane after it developed some engine issues. The flight, operated by Mesa Airlines, was en-route from Charlotte to Austin at the time.

    The plane safely landed shortly after 6 p.m. None of the 83 people aboard was harmed.

    An American Airlines official Matt Miller said, “Our mechanics are trying to determine if the plane is flyable and can continue to Austin.”

    SFO-Bound American Airlines Flight Encounters Severe Turbulence

    American Airlines flight AA-1743 encountered severe turbulence on the way to San Francisco, California, on February 14th.

    The Airbus A330-200 plane was flying from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, when it hit turbulence that injured a flight attendant.

    The plane continued for a safe landing.

    World Atlantic Airways Plane Suffers Gear Collapse at Alexandria International Airport

    World Atlantic Airways flight RPN-807 suffered a gear collapse after landing at Alexandria International Airport, Louisiana, on April 20th.

    The incident happened when the plane was coming from Chicago, Illinois.

    The plane became disabled on the runway. All one hundred and one people aboard remained unharmed.

    The plane was operating on behalf of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

    Small Plane Crashed Near Corona Municipal Airport; 2 Injured

    A small plane crashed near Corona Municipal Airport, California, on January 17th.

    The single-engine plane had just taken off from the airport when the pilot noticed some issues and attempted to make an emergency landing.

    There were two people aboard at the time; both were taken to hospital with moderate to severe injuries.

    The FAA and the NTSB are investigating.

    Sky Regional Airlines Flight Rejects Take Off From LaGuardia Airport

    Sky Regional Airlines flight AC-7637 had to reject take off from LaGuardia Airport, New York, on January 12th.

    The plane, flying on behalf of Air Canada, was accelerating to take off for Montreal, Canada, when the crew noticed an issue with the right hand engine and rejected take off.

    The plane taxied to a parking spot.

    All passengers and crew members remained unarmed.
