The incident occurred after the pilots aborted a takeoff at Trang Airport, Thailand.
Sun Express Deutschland flight XQ-4879 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, Belgrade, Serbia, on July 26th.
The Boeing 737-800 flying from Stuttgart, Germany, to Hurghada, Egypt, had to divert due to smoke in its cabin.
The plane landed safely.
No injuries were reported.

What: Air Service Berlin Douglas C-47 Skytrain, Vintage DC3 “Rosinenbomber”
Where: Berlin’s Schoenefeld airport
When: June 19, 2010
Who: 3 crew, 25 tourists, 7 injuries
Why: After the left engine failed, the DC3 made an emergency landing at Schoenefeld airport in Berlin. The flight made a safe landing. The plane was part of a 1948-49 fleet that carried supplies during the Berlin Airlift, and is now used to shuttle tourists.
On landing, the right wing and engine separated resulting in a small fire.

What: Horizon Air de Havilland Dash 8-400 en route from Portland,OR to Seattle,WA

Who: 55 passengers, 4 crew
Why: While en route, the right engine was shut down. According to wptv witnesses aboard the flight, “there was an explosion. Then, all of a sudden, everything stopped, and it just got totally quiet, and everyone started to panic.” Passengers took photos of the plane’s stopped propellor; and then the plane began shaking, and they could feel the weight on the left side.
Pilots returned to Portland and made a safe landing. An inspection of the plane is underway.
A replacement jet was provided.

Why: After takeoff, the right engine experienced a couple of compressor stalls, resulting in a couple of loud explosive-sounding bangs. The crew decided to return to San Diego where they made a safe landing. The flight was cancelled, passengers rebooked.
Smartwings flight QS-1903 overran the end of the runway upon landing at Pardubice Airport, Czech Republic, on August 1st.
The incident happened when the Boeing 737-800 plane was coming from Heraklion, Greece.
The plane came to stop on soft ground.
No injuries were reported.
Blue Air flight 0B-9361 returned and made a safe emergency landing at Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport, Otopeni, Romania, on July 2nd.
The Boeing 737-800, en-route to Antalya, Turkey, was climbing out of Bucharest when the crew reported an abnormal landing gear indication, prompting the plane to return.
The plane landed safely. All people onboard remained unharmed.
The passengers were accommodated in a replacement plane.
